Search Engine Submission/Optimization

DS1 Design will perform Search Engine Optimization and Submission for your web site, as described below. This is executed in a 2-3 week timeframe and results should be visible within 8-16 weeks from the time of completion.
 
Add Google Sitemap
A Sitemap file lets you tell Google about all the pages on the site, and optionally, information about those pages, such as which are most important and how often they change. This file is also read by both Yahoo and MSN search.
 
Create Google Analytics Profile
Google Analytics is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to the website. You will receive a username and password to your Google profile.
 
Create profile in Yahoo Site Explorer
This offers Yahoo a closer look at the structure of the website which will aid their bots while they are crawling your site. This includes embedding of a tracking mechanism for Yahoo on your web site,
 
Create Robots.txt File
Robots.txt file created for your web site to help direct bots to certain pages and away from others.
 
Select and include search-friendly titles and keywords
We will carefully select keywords that will create visibility as well as differentiate your site from your competitors. Optionally a competing site can be submitted for keyword analysis. We recommend you submit the initial keywords to DS1 Design which concisely and clearly describe your company, products and or services.
 
Submission to Google, Yahoo and MSN Search Engines
Once the above are completed, your site will be submitting manually to the major engines. The submission will be confirmed and you should expect to see results in 8-16 weeks.
